Cacao Rico is for our true chocolate lovers. It's dark and indulgent flavour highlights the deep, moreish and rich flavours of our cacao. Organically grown and harvested in Papua New Guinea then transported in Melbourne to be ground fresh for your cup.

Cacao offers mood-lifting, antioxidant rich and calm energy boosting properties. It's the perfect night cap to help your rest cycles through an overall feeling of great contentment.

The short answer is absolutely yes! A morning cup of cacao pairs very well with a second afternoon pick me up or night time treat. Always listen to your body and enjoy in the manner best suited to you.

Even though caffeine is present to a small degree in the cocoa bean, the main alkaloid/stimulant is called theobromine (the mild, chilled out cousin of caffeine). Theobromine is a slow releasing, mood boosting compound that can also lower blood pressure. Paired with the high magnesium content of cacao, the effects can actually promote a fulfilled sense of rest and a long lasting aura boost rather than a jittery energy spike sharply followed by an intense crash.

Cacao Rico is great for any time of day. It's great for a calm morning elixir, as well as a mid-morning pick-me-up and best as an evening night cap.

Whether you have a stovetop, a steamer, milk frother, campfire or something else, all you need is a way to heat up your milk of choice for a hot drink. For best results we recommend activating your powder with a splash of warm water and then adding your milk to the resulting syrup and then heating with your preferred method. Cacao Rico is also great in a smoothie, just simply add a spoonful for a healthy and nutritious chocolate hit.

This blend may be a bit bitter for kids by itself, we recommend making a little weaker and with a dash of honey if you are preparing for children.
