Our cacao is sourced ethically and sustainably from Papua New Guinea as whole “pods” and then brought to Australia to be carefully stoneground and dutched in small batches. This means that it’s pretty much the freshest and most vibrant cacao going around, you will immediately notice the incredible chocolate aroma as you open your bag of Cacao Bloom for the first time.

The Ancho Chilli is a poblano pepper that has been dried. It is a staple in Mexican cuisine and offers a deep, sweet and dark chocolate flavour with mild spice. In our blend we actually add a touch of cayenne chilli to elevate the spice to a slightly noticeable level and let the ancho really complement our stoneground cacao.

Maca is a root found in the Andes in Peru & Bolivia. It has been traditionally used as a food source and as a natural medicine for centuries. As an adaptogen it has been linked to hormonal balance, fertility and energy. It has an earthful, nutty, caramel taste.

Simply activate approx. 1 heaped teaspoon of Cacao Roja powder with a splash of warm water.

Add 200mL of your choice of milk and give it a little stir.
