Our cacao is sourced ethically and sustainably from Papua New Guinea as whole “pods” and then brought to Australia to be carefully stoneground and dutched in small batches. This means that it’s pretty much the freshest and most vibrant cacao going around, you will immediately notice the incredible chocolate aroma as you open your bag of Cacao Bloom for the first time.
For our blends, we source organic premium matcha from the wet fields of Kagoshima Japan. This region, known for its volcanic soil and sub-tropical climate, produces a distinctly bright, smooth and slightly sweet character with low bitterness that we find works wonderfully with other natural fun flavours (especially natives).
Because we craft 'blends' and not 100% matcha, we don't consider our matcha "ceremonial" even though it is of the finest quality we want to honour and respect what that distinction actually means and focus on bringing you new and exciting matcha products that are full of imagination and enjoyment.
