Premium, organic, barista grade matcha from the fields of Kagoshima, with a subtle infusion of baobab, maple, golden lucuma and just a twist of native desert lime. A much cleaner way to experience caffeine, instead of a short-lived, overstimulating sprint, matcha also contains L-theanine, an amino acid that slows down the absorption of caffeine by up to 6-8hrs, resulting in an extended and more understated effect without the side-effects. This delicious blend is also a good source of magnesium for energy metabolism, rest and recovery.

When served cold, Matcha Mile has a super bright and refreshing taste profile. You can harness this by activating the powder in warm water and then topping it up with chilled soda water and ice for the ultimate uplifting tonic.

For our blends, we source organic premium matcha from the wet fields of Kagoshima Japan. This region, known for its volcanic soil and sub-tropical climate, produces a distinctly bright, smooth and slightly sweet character with low bitterness that works wonderfully with other natural fun flavours (especially natives).

The fruit of the adansonia tree, commonly known as baobab, is an adaptogenic superfood native to Africa. It is strongly linked to recovery, immunity and naturally regulating due to it packing one huge vitamin C punch backed up by a strong iron content. It has a light and fresh nutty cashew-like flavour mixed with a bright and happy sherbety zesty sweetness.

Matcha contains, on average, around 70mg per 225g cup of caffeine. Comparatively a coffee can have up to around 200mg per 225 cup (almost 3 times higher than matcha). Unlike coffee, matcha contains another alkaloid called L-theanine which is known to promote the production of calming neurotransmitters like serotonin and gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA). But even more interestingly, L-theanine actually helps to slow down the absorption of caffeine and in matcha this can take over a period of 6-8 hours. This prompts a sustained state of calmness, enhanced alertness and improved cognitive function without jitters or a crash.

  • All our blends are designed to be easily prepared using even the most simple home equipment. A great tip is to first activate the drink powder by adding some warm water, stirring and then slowly mixing in your milk of choice. You can then steam it, heat it over a stove or even have it cold over ice.
